How Claude is part of PackCheck

Research that keeps the rules right

  1. Claude research agents read official sources for each destination (governments, embassies, health agencies, airports) and write every rule with its source URL, the date it was checked and a confidence level.
  2. A generator turns that research into the app's data. Only rules with a source and high or medium confidence get in.
  3. Next: run this research on the Claude API on a schedule, so rules that change (entry forms, fees, battery limits) are updated without waiting for us.

The app itself

  • The app (SwiftUI, about 6,600 lines) was written with Claude coding agents, one feature request at a time.
  • The 3D suitcase and pouches are rendered by code Claude wrote.
  • We test each build on our own iPhones before the next change.
